Nine Square Quilt

A little quilt, perfect for a baby or around the house. I made this one with squares of linen I had dyed through the year in 2022 for various projects and experiments, and was the first quilt I finished in 2023.
I hand dyed linen with indigo, rhubarb root, walnuts, chestnut, oak galls and cutch. These colours have then been sewn into patchwork, hand quilted and finished with mitred corned bias binding.
Measures 77 x 77 cm
The top and bottom are 100% linen which is cool on the skin and gets softer with use.
Wadding 100% GOTs certified wool.
Hand wash when needed with a gentle eco laundry liquid and dry flat.
